GM: So tell our readers a little bit about yourself.  You’re an actor turned model who had been acting for a while right?

NT: Yeah I started off on stage in Chicago, grew up doing musical theatre and stage acting in downtown Chicago trained in all the established theatres and then moved out here to L.A in 2008.  Out here I went to business school for a quick second also attended an art school out in Chicago for about a year and then came out here with this whole master plan of getting involved in sustainable architecture and development so I knew I had to go to business school, but that plan kind of all fell onto itself.  It’s still part of my master plan in my life to get involve to save the earth if I may. I started acting out here and got hooked up with my agent. Next thing you know I was testing for shows, did my ABC family show, did my CW show and then I started doing the features.

GM: You mentioned that you started off in theatre.  What drew you to theater at such a young age?

NT: I blamed my mom for that one (laughing) She always wanted me and my brother to be extroverted and she told us to go out and audition for the Wizard of Oz and I was completely hooked. I got the acting bug. It was me and brother for a while but he strayed away from the acting side of it.  He’s now at L.A. film school so he wants to be on the other side of the camera.

GM: So can we expect a collaboration from the Tortorella brothers in the near future?

NT: The production company is in the works as we speak.
